DBMS/COPY Version 8- read and write over 80 data formats
DBMS/COPY was the choice for transfering data between software packages. Unfortunately the development of DBMS/COPY is discontinued.
As a hot standby we recommend the software Stat/Transfer. Some features of DBMS/COPY now are integrated in the SAS-products SAS and JMP.
**********Please note: The software package specified below is no longer available to purchase************
For over 10 years and for tens of thousands of
satisfied customers worldwide, DBMS/COPY has been the choice for transferring
data between software packages. Why? It directly reads and writes
the native binary files for over 80 packages. DBMS/COPY doesn't stop
there, you get record filters, variable subsetting and powerful computational
capabilities.
DBMS/COPY takes care of all the hassles in
transferring data including: dissimilar numeric types, date variables, time
variables, null value and variable name truncation. Problems with free
and fixed format ASCII files disappear with the ASCII Data Dictionary
Builder. The Spreadsheet Grabber enables you to visually grab
from anywhere within the spreadsheet. Complex SQL queries can be created
with the friendly ODBC query builder. You can use the built-in
batch processing to automate repetitive transfers. DBMS/COPY is
your solution for transferring data.
Some of the highlights of the new version
are: SAS V7 & V8, Stata V6, direct Microsoft Access support,
faster ODBC (by 8 to 40 times) and on-line documentation
When you have data to move between packages,
DBMS/COPY is the best program to use. It supports the most
number of packages and is available for Windows 95/98/NT, Windows 3.1 and Unix
(Solaris, SunOS4, HP/UX, IBM/AIX, DEC/Alpha, SGI and Linux).
DBMS/COPY the supports all of the following packages. Those in bold type are
new for version 8.0.

| Oracle, Informix & ODBC |
| For SQL based packages including Oracle, Informix, Sybase and others,
DBMS/COPY uses ODBC. DBMS/COPY has a built-in query builder for reading
packages with ODBC drivers. (Microsoft Access is now on the list of supported
packages.) When writing to a package with an ODBC driver, DBMS/COPY will
create the table. DBMS/COPY for Windows95/98/NT/2000 can also append records
to an existing table or replace a table. |
System Requirements:
Operating System: 95/98/NT/2000/ME or above
