JMP 8.0 für Windows, Macintosh und Linux
Gesamt-Feature-Liste | Neue Funktionen | System-Voraussetzungen | Weitere Informationen
Mit JMP ® 8.0 entdecken Sie mehr Zusammenhänge in Ihren Daten. JMP

JMP 7 - Interactive Graphs
|
|

Graphically linked data makes exploration easy. For example, when a user clicks on a row or outlier in a graph, all the related data are automatically highlighted.

JMP's most powerful feature is Interactive Graphs. Highlight a point, bar, or row, and JMP highlights its corresponding data everywhere else it is represented. Data are linked so you can easily notice patterns. For example, click a point in a plot. The point is highlighted. The row representing that point in the data table is highlighted. The point for that row in other plots is highlighted, too. Click a histogram bar and that bar is highlighted along with the corresponding rows in the data table. And also, all other open histograms and plots that contain the corresponding part show the same data highlighted. With JMP, you can easily notice patterns, relationships, and outliers in your data.
|
JMP 7 - Jazz Up Your Reports
|

The Layout facility allows you flexibility in presenting your results. |
JMP's beveled, outline-style report surface lends your reports a sleek, professional look. It's just one of many ways to fine-tune your results to customize your presentation.
Want to change the background color of your histogram to suit a journal's style guidelines? How about using special fill patterns and colors to highlight specific groups on your bar chart? Need to increase the line width on your linear fit so that the slope stands out against a dense cloud of points? Want some choices of dashed lines to set off the grouped results from the overall results? JMP allows you to do these things and more. Choose from over 16 different markers to add spice to your graphs. Represent data points with tiny single-pixel markers for clustered points in a report or with bold (XXX Large) markers for poster sessions. Click any heading or report table column to edit it directly. Hide a report column or sort the rows of your statistical results by a column.
With the Layout facility, you can treat every element of your report as a separate object. Freely edit, delete, move, group and ungroup objects to create the presentation you need. When you're done, save your report directly to HTML for ready-to-go presentation on the World Wide Web or your department intranet. Graphics are automatically embedded in your choice of JPEG, PNG or WMF files.
|
JMP 7 - Enhance Your Statistics
|
|

The Model Comparison table in the Time Series platform allows you to evaluate different models side by side using a variety of statistics of fit.
|
JMP includes a variety of statistical capabilities. Whether you are forecasting using simple methods such as exponential smoothing and Winters Method or constructing complicated ARIMA models, JMP provides a comprehensive collection of methods and diagnostic tools for evaluating your times series data. Need to analyze a split plot design or a randomized complete block design? JMP has expanded its support for mixed models by including restricted maximum likelihood (REML) methods. Logistic regression now includes ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curves. Matched Pairs is a analysis platform for performing paired t-tests. Multiple comparison tests, such as Tukey-Kramer HSD and LSMeans Student's t, are available for multiway ANOVA. Need to fit distributions? The Distribution platform performs goodness of fit tests on many new distributions: Normal, Lognormal, 2 & 3 parameter Weibull, Extreme Value, Gamma, Beta, and Exponential.
|
JMP 7 JSL - Script Your Results
|

Help students visualize the effect of changing parameters in the normal distribution by grabbing the handle of the graph and dragging mu and sigma to new values. Sample scripts to create animated graphics such as these are installed with JMP.
|
Tired of pointing and clicking your way through the same kinds of analyses over and over again? With JMP you can capture the final results via a script using JMP Scripting Language (JSL). The script can be replayed later using the same or newly collected data. JMP power users may want to use JSL to write custom programs to manipulate data in complex ways (including full matrix algebra support) and even extend JMP's graphical and analytical capabilities
JSL is ideal for academic use. Sample scripts demonstrate how you can simulate statistical processes. Create your own interactive, animated graphics to illustrate complex concepts such as how sample size and power are related or how one probability distribution differs from another.
JMP uses JSL internally as well. JSL is the language that drives JMP's formula editor. Write complex formulas in JSL and simply cut and paste the text directly into the JMP calculator.
|
JMP 7 - Add power to Your Design of Experiments
|
|

Use the Prediction Profiler to find the settings that give the highest signal-to-noise ratio for your Taguchi experiment.
|
Is your sample large enough for your experiment to detect a difference in yield? Use the Power and Sample Size facility to find out. You can test a single sample mean, two sample means, or k-sample means. Need to alter an existing design? Add or delete factors, replicate rows, or include centerpoints with the click of the mouse using the Augment Design facility. Fractional factorial designs now support an unlimited number of factors plus you have complete control over the aliasing structure. The Taguchi Arrays platform allows you to easily construct inner and outer arrays and calculate signal-to-noise ratios. Generate a screening design for mixtures using the new ABCD design.
|
JMP 7 - Custom Design Your Experiment
|
|

Use the Custom designer to produce a two-factor response surface design with a three-level categorical factor. You can construct the design with only twelve runs (or as few as eight) instead of the traditional and much more expensive twenty-seven runs.
|
JMP provides a revolutionary approach to Design of Experiments. You describe your engineering problem (the factors, interactions, budget constraints, and goals) and JMP constructs a tailored design for you. You no longer need to worry about finding a tabled design and then struggling to match your problem to it. JMP fits the pieces of the puzzle together for you using a D-Optimal designer. Our Custom designer is unique to JMP and is currently not offered in any other software package.
The Custom designer allows you to mix factor roles as required by your situation. Compare many different designs using the Prediction Variance Profiler to assess the quality of the design. Choose the design that best meets your need.
|
JMP 7 - Access Your Data
|

Text Import Preview lets you get the details right the first time.
View Video Clip (33 sec., 1.15 MB, video only, QuickTime 6 Required) |
A single Open command is all you need to access your data, no matter what the format. Open JMP tables directly. Open files from Microsoft® EXCEL, or Microsoft® Access, or any other database that has an ODBC driver (Windows and Linux only). Open Version 7 and Version 8 SAS® System data sets. Open SAS transport files
We've even found a way to make importing text easier; the Text Import Preview lets you define the delimiter, column names, and data types in advance so that you get the results you expect.
|
JMP 7 - The Data Table
|

The columns browser allows you to view and modify the entire data table--not just the part of the spreadsheet you can fit on your screen. Column names that appear above data values can now wrap to the next line. |
The JMP Data Table offers many powerful functions for managing your data. Browser panels on the left provide extended table attributes and readily accessible column and row operations.
- The tables panel at the top allows you to define table variables to store important information about your data such as the data source, date, engineering or research notes, etc. New table properties allow you to store scripts which can quickly regenerate analyses.
- The handy column browser allows you to view, manipulate and even rearrange columns (simply drag and drop) without having to scroll them into view in the spreadsheet. The browser contains helpful information such as column names, modeling type, role assignments and special attributes.
- Column properties allow you to build even more intelligence into your spreadsheet. For example, save your control limits with your quality variable. Specify how results should be sorted when you use a column as your grouping variable. Assign the role of a column to be used as a factor in a designed experiment.
- The rows panel tells you at a glance how many rows are selected, hidden, excluded or labeled. Use the row operations to add colors or markers or take advantage of more sophisticated techniques for row selection.
