Comparing ROC-curves in JMP

ROC-curves are a very common tool to evaluate the quality of a prediction model in terms of sensitivity and specificity. Some time ago my colleague wrote a sweet script to analyze and evaluate ROC-curves in JMP. Actually you can use the script to compare multiple ROC-curves and you will get confidence bands for them as well. In this piece I will demonstrate how to use the script and what it can do for you.

Quality by Design (QbD) with Design Expert - A Case Study

Nowadays Quality by Design is a huge topic. Not only being the recommended method for drug development by the FDA, it even gives you that much more flexibility in production and much more knowledge than many other methods. In this piece I will go through the process of finding a design space using the QbD-methodology supported by Design-Expert. The whole example will be based on data provided by the FDA.

How to Choose the Right Screening Design

New DoE-users often get overwhelmed by the amount of different designs that are available. Instead of seeing the benefits of just using the DoE (Design of Experiments) approach at all the tend to worry how to choose the right design for a given application. In this piece I will present my approach to choose the right screening design while introducing a JMP-script that supports you with that.
